Sega Private Ocean

Here is one of those little gadgets from Japan that I always find myself needing. It’s basically a video alarm clock with touch sensors and connection ports for mobile media devices. When music is played the fish seem to appear and move in tune with the music. The player also has both sunrise and sunset settings.

The touch screen is kinda cool because the fish scatter from the point you touch. It’s like dropping a rock in a coy pond. There is also a audio mic on the top which apparently makes the fishes interact with voice.

It reminds me of the program AfterDark we all had as our screensavers years ago. If only this thing had interactive flying toasters I’d totally be sold.
