Just found a blog by a guy who goes by the name ManMeng, and he decided to make some custom skins for his Macbook and Nintendo DS. Nothing super involved or anything but it’s always cool to see how people customize their own stuff. I personally don’t think the DS looks all that hot, but I do like the design on the laptop a lot.

Here is a collection of photos on flickr titled Wee Planets, in which the photographer made panoramic views out of several photographs, then distorts and edits them together so they appear as a cool looking tiny planet floating in the sky. A lot of them are really awesome, and the idea in general is very cool. I wouldn’t mind living on many of these, and I’m going to save some of them as references for when I get around to building my own planet.
They also remind me a lot of Dragonball Z.

On my right arm I have a tattoo of three little bugs which I got from an illustration by a man named Vaughn Bode. Vaughn was an underground comic artist/illustrator/writer/genius from the 60s and 70s.
Vaughn’s most famous character is a foul-mouthed, sarcastic, wizard named Cheech Wizard. Cheech consists of a large wizard’s hat with a pair of red stockinged legs sticking out of the bottom. Vaughn created Cheech Wizard in 1957, and to honor Vaughn and his creations, PUMA released a limited edition pair of Clydes earlier in the year.
I found out after finishing reading the articles about this stuff that this all actually happened back in March, but seeing as how Vaughn Bode is a hero of mine, I thought it was very cool and wanted to post anyway. Unfortunately for me that means that there’s little to no chance of me ever being able to obtain a pair of these shoes, but I’ll live I suppose.
